1.) MICHAEL JORDAN
In most people mind Michael Jordan is known as the best basketball player ever by far, but on my list he barley beast out our number 2 candidate. Michael was a terrific perimeter defender and an amazing scorer even though he wasn't the best 3 point shooter he made up for it with a beautiful mid range jump shot and a variety of post moves that even bigger defenders couldn't guard. He was a headache for defenses until the day he retired still averaging 20 points at 41 years old!
Accolades and career stats:
5x MV,P 6x Finals MVP, 14x All star,. He averaged 30.1 PPG, 6.2 RBG, 5.3 APG
2.) WILT CHAMBERLAIN
Some people say Wilt shouldent even be in the top 3 because the era he played in was so weak and easy, that any skilled bigman of todays game could produce similar numbers, but his stats are so unlike anyone elses ever that he has to be number two on my list. Wilt was by far the most dominate player in basketball history. Wilt was tall for his era so he used it to his advantage he was 7`1 in a time where most big men were around 6`8. Wilt was an amazing post scorer so he didn't stray to far away from the low block area, he was one of the best defenders in his time as well, in they games that they have film of of his he averaged close to 10 blocks a game!

And dont forget about his famous 100 point game
3.) KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR
Kareem is one of my all time favorite players. He could do everything from score down low to rebound and was even one of the better passing big men. He played for a very long time in the NBA which is one of the reasons he is the all time leading scorer in NBA history. His famous move is the sky hook which most people call today as "The Kareem" in his honor. The shot is a very high arcing hook shot from the post, he could make this shot from almost anywhere inside of the 3 point line.

4.) ERVIN "MAGIC" JOHNSON
Magic Johnson was the best point guard in NBA history. He was very versatile and a great defender because of his height and length. Magic could do anything you asked of him, if you needed a 3 he could shoot a 3, if you needed to get to the freethrow line he could go get fouled, if you need a defensive stop he could give you that too. He could play every position on the floor from point guard to center because of his height and how strong he was.

5.) LEBRON JAMES
LeBron is regarded as the best all around player in NBA history. What he lacks in 3 point shooting he makes up with raw strength and athletic ability. Lebron is 6'8 of raw muscle. He is by far the strongest most physical player in the NBA. Much like Jordan and Magic he is a amazing defender and can play any position you put him at. He is one of the best passers in the NBA today and if he wanted he could easily average double digit rebounds along with 30 points.
